JSSCPO Library

JSSCPO Library is known as the Information Resource Centre which supports teaching, learning and research and which is the heart of the academic centre with an aim to provide ‘Anytime, Anywhere Access’ to information and knowledge.

It is located at the first floor of the College building in a clean and quiet atmosphere. The centre is well furnished with wooden reading tables with separate lighting system and comfortable chairs, journal s & new arrival display racks and one charging and discharging counter. The library is computerized by the Library Management Software “KOHA” to achieve the accuracy and speed up the transactions. The software supports Barcode Technology.

JSSCPO Library have printed as well as electronic resources which include books, journals, databases, AVs, CDs/DVDs, e-books, e-journals, reports, course materials, encyclopaedias, dictionaries, manuals, Back Volumes of various pharmaceutical disciplines. Currently the library holds over 15000 books, 10 print journals, provides access to 1500 e-journals, electronic databases, newspapers, and magazines, 120 multimedia resources.
